Book Club

During a recent Shambhala Training weekend the existence of a small Herefordshire Shambhala Book Group came to light. This sparked a response for something similar to be set up at the London centre.

The basic idea would be to read a book, or a chapter/part of a book and meet to discuss it and relate it to our experience. We would like to encourage and nurture opportunities to keep talking, thinking, and opening our hearts together.

We could find a regular time slot at the Centre and meet together to decide how we want it to be run. Crucially, is there anybody out there who would be willing to organise/facilitate or share the organising of such a Book Group?  The group itself will set the direction, reading programme and be peer led.  If you are interested please contact me on [email protected].  I would like to thank Heather Kay for her energy and vision in planting the seeds for this community project.
