Beginner’s Meditation – Regular

If you are new to meditation, and would like to learn how to meditate, we offer meditation instruction as part of our taster session for beginners every Monday and Wednesday evening as part of our Open Evening and Drop-in Meditation Sessions.

If you are a complete beginner, or already have some experience of meditation practice, these taster sessions are the best place to start. They will help you decide if you want to take a course to support you in developing your own meditation practice.

Even if you are already an experienced meditator we ask that you join the taster session on your first visit to Shambhala.

We suggest a donation in the region of £5-£7 (although we don’t want money to be a barrier to you attending)

Monday and Wednesday Evenings: 7.45-9.00. Arrival is from 7.15, with tea available, and the opportunity to meet people and have a chat.

The London Shambhala Centre has been teaching mindfulness meditation to all – regardless of background and religious beliefs – for over thirty years. Our instructors have many years experience of personal practice and have completed intensive training retreats in how to teach meditation to others.
