Being there in a time of pandemic: Mindfulness and COVID-19

My name is Huseyin Beykoylu and I am a Master’s student at the University of Glasgow, currently doing a course in Brain Sciences. My final research project, titled “Being there in a time of pandemic: Mindfulness and COVID-19”, is aiming to explore the relationship of mindfulness and the COVID-19 related stress and anxiety. This study will be in the form of an online questionnaire study with a longitudinal design. Both long-term meditators and non-meditators will be recruited to participate in this study. Participants will complete several measures in two separate sessions. These sessions will take place one week apart from each other for each participant. The study will be completely anonymous and the participants will use a randomly generated login ID (provided by the survey software at the end of the first session) to access the second session of the study.

The first session should take around 15 minutes to complete, while the second session will take around 5 minutes. I will send the link to the second session a week later from now.
