Guided meditation and Drop-in meditation evenings

“Nowness is the sense that we are attuned to what is happening. The past is fiction and the future is a dream, and we are just living on the edge of a razor blade.” Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

On Monday and Wednesday evenings we have  ‘new’ and ‘experienced’ meditation groups. We meet for tea  at 7.15 and then split into two groups for a 7.45 start before coming back together as a whole group for the last half of the evening practice, finishing at 9.00. There is also an opportunity for some social time afterwards.

If you are a complete beginner, or already have some experience of meditation practice, these taster sessions are the best place to start. They will help you decide if you want to take a course to support you in developing your own meditation practice.

Even if you are already an experienced meditator we ask that you join the taster session on your first visit to Shambhala.

We suggest a donation in the region of £5-£7 for both groups.

Monday and Wednesday Evenings: 7.45-9.00 (Arrival is from 7.15)
