Karuna Training & Contemplative Psychology

In Contemplative Psychology, we become familiar with our own mind, and discover that mindfulness and compassion are naturally healthy components of the human mind and heart.

Karuna Training offers programmes in Contemplative Psychology that combine the wisdom of the meditative Buddhist tradition with the methods of Western medicine and psychology. The approach is designed for people who work professionally with others, as well as those who are interested in personal development using a contemplative model. It is particularly suitable for therapists, medical professionals, teachers, artists, organisational leaders, and parents.

Two Year Professional Training in Contemplative Psychology

The Two Year Professional Training is a comprehensive programme in Contemplative Psychology that teaches us how to heal ourselves and work skilfully with others through the innate potency of the heart. The programme joins deep study of Tibetan Buddhist principles with contemplative practice, skills development, ongoing group interaction and community support.
