From About us page:

The London Shambhala Meditation Centre is part of a global community based on the principles of kindness, fearlessness and human goodness. Based on a quiet street a few minutes’ walk from Clapham Common Tube, we are a friendly and welcoming centre, and offer a range of sessions and courses for beginners / those new to meditation, as well as more experienced meditators.

While the majority of our ongoing programmes offer a continual deepening in practices and teachings rooted in the ancient traditions of Shambhala and Vajrayana Buddhism, we also offer courses which are easily accessible and particularly appropriate for those new to meditation, as well as other courses for people interested in teachings from the Buddhist tradition. You are welcome to attend whether you are are from any Buddhist tradition or none, or practice any religion or none.

From Home page:

Following extensive community consultation the London Shambhala Meditation Centre has decided to withdraw its allegiance to Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche as leader and main teacher, but not from the Shambhala community. LSMC is committed to developing as an open, democratic, inclusive and diverse organisation where all are welcome.
