Removing Obstacles: Vajrakilaya Group Practice

with Paul Gerstmayr

December 10th

Date details +
    Room: London meditation hall

Open to all Tantrikas/Vajrayana students of our community: Join for the group practice of The Short Daily Practice of Vajrakilaya, by Mipham the Great.

Vajrakilaya is one of the principal sadhanas or means of accomplishment for removing obstacles, seen and unseen. There is also a strong connection between the Shambhala terma and the Vajrakilaya tantras. The Kongma Sakyong will be performing a Puja, or intensive practice, of Vajrakilaya on Sunday, 10th December, for the benefit of the Shambhala community in particular and the world in general.

It is customary on such occasions to join the Sakyong by requesting all practitioners of Vajrakilaya to intensify their practice and/or to gather for a group practice with celebratory Feast. This year however we would like to open up this event by focussing on a Vajrakilaya practice that does not require a specific abhisheka/empowerment, nor a lung/reading transmission. This way, all Vajrayana students can join.

Details: Upon registration (no fee), you will be sent a confirmation email with login link for a Zoom (online video conference platform) meeting room. The practice will NOT take place at the physical London Shambhala Centre. You can join from the comforts of your personal home situation. After a short introduction to the practice, we shall recite and engage with it.
