You are warmly invited to join us to mark the changing seasons with meditation practice, reflection, discussion, and celebration at this year's Harvest of Peace on Sunday 22nd September.

This year, we look forward to welcoming everyone, in order to celebrate a new season and a new start for the centre, as we introduce our community-led revised structure and way of operating.

    Schedule

    2:00 - 3:30 - Sitting meditation
    3:30 - 4:00 - Tea and cake
4:00 - 5:30 - Community Meeting: a chance to hear about our new structure and ways to participate in the centre
    5:30 - 6:15 - Drinks and socialising
    6:15 - 8:00 - Food* and music
    8:00pm - END

    * Please register if you want to stay for the evening meal, as we need an idea of numbers for cooking purposes. (NB. there is no need to make a payment when you register. We are asking for a suggested donation of £10 for the meal, but will gratefully receive whatever you feel able to offer on the day – we do not want financial situations to prevent people participating in this community event, so please do feel free to join us for the meal)

Everyone is welcome - we hope to see existing members and attendees, as well as newcomers attending for the first time.

    Further information:

    - We will need some help with the different aspects of the day (e.g. setting up, clearing up, serving drinks, etc.). All offers of help will be much appreciated. Please e-mail [email protected] to offer help and / or find out more.

    - An evening meal will be provided (fish and vegan / gluten free options available - please indicate your preference when you register). Please register if you want to stay for the evening meal. You don't need to pay in advance, but we need to have an idea of numbers for cooking purposes! Suggested donation: £10.

    - Drink will be provided for a small suggested donation. You are also welcome to bring your own drinks / contributions (soft or alcoholic)
