Qigong: mindfulness, appreciation and vitality
Qigong is the ancient art of mindful movement. It synchronises mind and body, frees up energy and vitality, and so supports relaxation and well-being.
This class integrates the benefits of mindfulness with those of traditional Qigong by emphasising simple yet powerful movements. In particular you will learn the 18 movements that form the Tai Chi Shibasi sets 1 and 2 which will help you in establishing your own personal practice at home.
Master Sifu Wing Cheung has said: “I have learned more than 30 different styles of Qigong. Tai Chi Shibashi is one of the most effective and easiest to learn”.
The class is for anyone who is new, or relatively new to Qigong. It is also a good way to relax, and synchronise mind and body before the Meditation class/session which follows at 7.30.
