Room: Main meditation hall

The turn of the year can be a challenging time and yet is also a good moment to pause and  find renewed strength and consolation in our practice. Please join us once again to explore how we can approach the new year with a spirit of courage and adventure. Silent contemplative lunches will be provided. There will be daily guided instruction & short talks about Shamatha-Vipashyana meditation. There will also be opportunities for one-on-one meditation interviews.

Peter Conradi is a long-term student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and was amongst the first group of Shambhala teachers to be appointed by the Sakyong as a 'shastri', or senior teacher, a position which he served in for 6 years. Peter is English Professor Emeritus at Kingston University, and the author of a number of books including Going Buddhist and Iris Murdoch: A Life. He is an elected fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
